Here follows an excerpt from the Fairfax Genealogical Society website:

MAYHUGH/HAMPTON/DAVIS FAMILY CEMETERY
Between 11337 and 11349 Henderson Road
Fairfax Station, Virginia USA

Original Information from Volume 2 of the Gravestone Books

This family cemetery is located between the properties at 11337 and 11349 Henderson Road (Route 643), Fairfax Station. The site may be approached from two directions.

From the driveway at 11349 Henderson Road, there is a faint path at a wide spot in the drive just after the crest of a small rise. The path is 32 paces beyond the crest of the driveway. Follow the path into the woods.

From the driveway of 11337 Henderson Road, follow the power line right-of-way parallel to Henderson Road almost to the crest of the hill. Turn into the woods and walk straight back to the cemetery. One must climb over fallen trees to reach the cemetery in this beautiful wooded setting. The area is not overgrown and about thirty burials can be discerned. Some burials are marked by fieldstones. There are five gravestones.

According to information on file in the Virginia Room of the Fairfax City Regional Library, land was transferred from the heirs of Silas Mayhugh to John C. Stone, recorded 3 November 1924, Deed Book K9, page 198, which states that one acre of land “now used for cemetery purposes” was to be reserved.
